Your EGO is showing

They say you have a BIG EGO.
But what does that mean?
Is an ego something that sits quietly behind your left ear, pulsating gently?
No.
It's not a physical thing.
They say your ego can get you in trouble.
They say people with big egos are arrogant or don't care about others.
But none of this is it.
An ego, I've learned, is simply a cluster of beliefs we have about the world, other people, and ourSELVEs in that context.
All of us have a thought-created identity of who we think we are. That's ego.
It's built up and maintained over years.
And, depending on the nature of this identity, we have stronger or less strong urges to try to protect it.
When we get nervous speaking on a stage, for example, our ego says we can't look stupid. That's why we get nervous.
Our ego is basically that bundle of thoughts that tries to protect us.
It's there for safety, but it often makes us protective, defensive, and rather miserable.
We'll never be completely without ego. It's healthy to want to look out for ourselves to a degree.
But mostly, the thoughts that comprise an ego are NOT helpful.
They keep us anxious, stressed, defensive and fearful.
My course, available at 60% off for a special three-day sale until this Wednesday, 5pm ET, helps unravel this ego in guided steps.
It's quite amazing what happens when we can learn to question many of the beliefs that make up this ego.
When we unravel some of the knots, we find ourselves less stressed, more easy-going, more chill, more connected.
What's that worth to you?
Stop taking things personally
Anxiety dropped in days, not months
Move before you feel ready (and watch confidence follow)
Stop absorbing other people's opinions as truth
