You up?

on being uncommonly chill

Psst.

Yeah you.

You awake?

Good.

I just wanted to send you a little message to say:

Life can be shit.

But I learned life's struggles have nothing to do with what actually happens in your life.

For example, today I had to find thousands in banknotes for my car purchase, rather than use a bank transfer. I was briefly frustrated, but then went to the bank, and realised I needed to go anyway to update my details and had a really pleasant exchange with the manager.

It turned into a bank visit, I am glad that happened.

So, what happens to us is all just merely data.

It's not until we apply our own criticisms and judgements that we turn raw data into a STRESSful event.

We create the stress. Not the event.

It's all in how we choose to respond.

I'm not saying bad things don't happen.

But I am saying we can turn down the intensity of those things so we enjoy more peace, more quickly.

Because a stressful life (felt in your body) has nothing to do with what happens to you.

It has everything to do with what you tell yourself is happening to you.

Understanding that difference in my late twenties improved my life so much, it has been hard to explain.

When I learned to settle my mind like this, my hardships softened and didn't last as long.

This is one of several key mindset-upgrade lessons they never taught us at school that you internalise when you use my Untethered Mind course.

The course guides you through a series of insights that make ideas like these stick for good (instead of being forgotten tomorrow), so you get an immediate mindset advantage with stress reduced drastically within hours.

Much love and chickens,

Alex
