- Writing IS your purpose
Writing IS your purpose
. . .
Yesterday a chap told me:
He found it difficult to write consistently because he didn’t know his purpose for writing.
I always say it’s far easier to be creative when you have a good reason for why you create.
But then I told him this:
What if your purpose was to express yourself creatively daily?
Your purpose IS the commitment to creativity.
Why would this make sense?
When you write daily, you become more creative.
Consistent writing shows you what works, and resonates, so you do more of that.
When you write more, your craft improves. You become a better communicator through practice - and this impacts all areas of your life, not just writing.
You feel better, more empowered, more energised BECAUSE you created something.
What if the act of daily writing WAS your purpose?
Few people write every day these days.
There are many distractions and many seemingly GREAT reasons not to write.
So it takes someone a little wacko different to actually write and publish each day.
But who said you were like everyone else?
Be different.
Rise above the crowd.
Separate yourself from the bullshit and make a stand today that you will live on purpose this very instant.
What if your purpose was to write, and speak your mind when few others do?
What if this became your crusade?
Write consistently, make it your core purpose, and see what comes out of it.
You may be pleasantly surprised.
And if you need extra guidance in packaging your written ideas so that you increase your post’s engagement by 50% or more, you can invest in my writing course.
