Why you don't need to rewrite your story

. . .

Many gooroos harp on about needing to rewrite the story you tell about yourself.

Ain't nobody got time for that.

Sure, you might tell yourself false things right now that make you do silly things. We all do this. I've done this.

I got hung up on my past.

I blamed my childhood.

I connected my present actions to past pains and my perceived 'personality.'

How about this: Celebrate your past (as best you can).

See the past as a period of lessons learned and the start of transformation.

But today?

You don't need to sit in a dark room conjuring up clever stories to rewire your brain so you become some wizard overnight.

You simply need to chill the fock out.

The secret isn't in a new story. It's in letting go of the need to be clever.

The smartest thing you need to do is to get back to your present life.

If an unhelpful thought comes up, as it often will, you smile at it and let it float past.

The more you let go, the less you close, and the more you love, the more you become yourself again.

A story is just another banana to juggle.

It overwhelms, and it complicates.

We don't need you prancing about in your mind any longer.

It's spending too long here that's bringing you all your frustrations and insecurities in the first place.

Return to reality.

Return to the simple, clear clarity of the right now.

That's all you need to do.

To instil this philosophy for living into your mind, you can go deeper with my support…
