Why I almost gave up writing
(and how to never stall creatively again)
There was a time when writing felt like screaming into the void.
I knew I wanted to build an audience and create my own online business.
I’d pour my thoughts onto the page, convinced I was saying something meaningful.
But I’d be met with silence. I’d look at my posts and see 3 views.
I felt it in my chest.
It made me want to throw away my laptop and leave on a world van life tour.
The worst part was that I didn’t know why people weren’t engaging.
Doubt crept in. Maybe my ideas weren’t interesting.
Maybe I was just a dull person.
Then, someone asked me if I ever studied how to write online.
All I could come up with was that I studied a bit of English Literature in school.
I smacked myself on the forehead.
I had no idea how to engage with my readers.
So, I spent the next few months reading other bloggers, reading books, and absorbing courses on writing.
I tested my ideas. I questioned why some hooks and some articles did well for others while many sat there picking up dust.
Some of my shares flopped, but things started working.
People started writing me emails thanking me for what I’d written.
I felt like I was getting somewhere.
Since then, I’ve been hooked.
Psychology and persuasion and emotional connection became interesting to me.
It wasn’t about me, but understanding people.
This renewed understanding motivated me to keep writing.
My output doubled.
Now I run a business driven by my writing habit.
So, here’s the thing:
If you’re struggling to write but you know there’s a part of you that is drawn to doing it:
You might be resistant because you need to know HOW to make your writing compelling.
You can’t guess it.
You need to learn it.
This is precisely what Online Writing Alchemy fixes.
The great thing about this course is that it shows you all the best stuff in one place.
So you don’t need to spend months and years learning it as I did.
Inside, I break down the key principles that will make your writing addictive to read.
If you’re tired of second-guessing and just want to know how to write in a way that grabs attention, this is for you.
The course is ideal whether you want to write longer stuff or start with a 30-day short-writing challenge. It’s all in there.
To happy writing (and creating things),
Alex
