When writing sounds like talking

-

I've been told by a few people that my writing feels like I'm talking directly to them.

I think it’s because I write in the same way I talk when I'm at a pub with someone I actually like.

This did take a while to learn, though, because many people get into writing with weird assumptions and they write stiff.

I ramble a bit, and I make jokes that are only half-serious.

I share some naughty things I probably shouldn't, and when I stumble into something genuinely useful, I keep going.

That's not a writing technique.

That's just what happens when you stop being someone you're not and start bloody talking.

The tricky part is figuring out what YOUR version of that sounds like and how to align it with what grows audiences.

Most people have been burying their real voice under formal habits for so long they've forgotten it's there.

I built Online Writing Alchemy to help you find it and sharpen it.

If you want to separate yourself from the AI slop and grow your personal brand through actual personality, this is for you.

If your writing sounds like everyone else's and you know something's missing, this is what I made it for.

Peace and chickens,

Alex
