What if it didn't get better than this?

. . .

What if right now was the most exciting it would ever be for you?

The happiest.

The most interesting.

The most beautiful.

I don’t say this to taunt or belittle.

I say this to enliven all of us.

Because if we see that it never gets better, we realise the futility of looking over the horizon for something better.

This is the source of all our disquiet.

Right now is all there is, and it’s magnificent.

Look around you.

Your life will never be more exciting than it is at this very instant.

Okay, you may say you could go bungee jumping tomorrow.

Do crazy, high-octane things to your heart’s content. But when you return home, you may find yourself in a bit of a lull for a while.

Balance.

Today is the most exciting it will get.

And that’s a great thing.

We are at an immediate disadvantage if we allow dissatisfied thoughts to infect the present.

Interesting, exciting, and riveting is always subjective.

You can have a colourful outer world, but you can have a colourful inner world too.

Those who thrive master the latter.

If you want to master your inner life, and find peace and joy no matter your circumstances, there is only one course that delivers:
