the deal is done

It's happened.

The deal is done.

I'm the official owner of a plot of land in rural Bulgaria.

There's nothing on it.

Just a lot of shrubs, little trees, tall grass and a few million bugs.

And I love it.

But now I have my work cut out for me.

I need to make the place livable.

This starts with a solid session of strimming to clear the veg and cut the grass.

Then I set up base camp.

What's cool is that I can continue to run my entire business from this square of grass with basically only my phone.

I have unlimited data on a very reasonable plan. I can connect my laptop to the phone's Internet. I can even type and do business on just the phone.

Thankfully, reception is good up there in the mountains, meaning I can pitch a tent, run my fan, and sit there tapping keys, taking names, and making sales.

This freedom would not have been possible without gathering my tribe of crazies, a.k.a. you.

I get to do what I enjoy: writing and making digital products that you guys occasionally buy through this newsletter.

And that's exactly the set-up you can build so you can live a more flexible life, even if you don't want exactly what I have.

Start by creating content and sharing it online. Ten minutes per day if that's all you have - that's great.

People will follow you. They will subscribe to your newsletter.

Now you have something golden. Because a newsletter gives visibility to your:

• little courses

• online coaching

• workshops

• products

• merchandise to sell

• Etc.

You write the odd email. Then mention a product - as I do - at the end of said email. Some people buy.

That money supports you without needing a commute.

But you need those subscribers.

As such, you'll want to learn how to create content that people WANT to follow first.

That's not something you're born knowing.

It took me years to learn it, but you can absorb it much quicker than that.
