Sticking with it this year

. . .

We’re over two weeks into the year.

I’m writing this while waiting for a Sofia to Istanbul plane.

This is when many give up on their big goals for the year.

They are overcome by January Blues and figure now’s a good time to spend half the time self-obsessing or escaping.

But you’re different.

You’re still here, still showing up, still maintaining your legendary status as an energised human who gives a crap.

That’s because you’re not just chasing goals, you’re building systems.

Wahooza. Yes, sir. Systems.

Understanding systems was the catalyst that changed my life.

Years ago, I’d get swept up in my exciting goals.

Whatever it was. I’d dream big, but by the end of the year, I hadn’t reached any of them.

That’s because we need to connect the future to the present.

That’s what a good system does.

Writing every day is a system that leads to the completion of a book.

Reaching out to new prospects every Friday afternoon is a system that leads to a booked-out practice.

Simple as that.

All my goals now had an attached system that made it clear to me what to do each day.

I show you exactly how to determine and build your own super-simple systems in my Ember mini-course, One System Method, coming in a few days (V excited to share that with you).

SO:

Don’t be like the average Maureen.

Have exciting goals, but make them possible, not just pipe dreams.

What system are you building so your goals are reached?

You. Can. Do. This.

Peace out.

Alex
