Setbacks are juicy

(even if it hurts)

I had a setback recently that felt like a rock had sprouted in my belly.

But I’m no stranger to that feeling.

I’ve had it thousands of times over the decades.

It never feels good, but that doesn’t mean these moments cannot be approached with wisdom.

It’s my only choice unless I plan to sulk in a dark room for days (with cake).

The moment you take a breath and sit with the feeling for a while, your chaotic flywheel mind is slowly replaced by your stiller, wiser mind.

That’s crucial because it’s there you realise that setbacks are juicy.

Alex, juicy?

Yes. Setbacks, even though they hurt, tell you a lot.

They provide the juiciest information. Information you needed that you may have missed before.

A painful setback is like the Universe ushering you to the side to have an uncomfortable but ultimately enlightening conversation with you.

If you’re open to listening.

Many years of struggle and denial have taught me to listen.

There’s always a lesson.

There is always something surprisingly GOOD to take from a painful experience.

But you need the strength to slow down and open up.

What’s the lesson?

My Untethered Mind course, by the way, is the best companion for you to get better at this.

The course shows you, step by step, how to master separating yourself from your thoughts and connecting with your inner intelligence.

Your stress dissipates faster, and you surprise yourself with how quickly you can get back on your feet.

Love,

Alex
