She’s poking his tattoos again.
The couple two tables down from me are deep in conversation.
There’s chemistry.
I’m a little jealous.
He rolls his sleeve further up his arm, revealing what looks like an alien’s face.
She gasps with wide eyes, like she just witnessed a comet slam into a distant city.
She’s enchanted.
Many would say he’s attracting this young lady because of his tattoos.
Though they give a focal point for conversation, the attraction has far more to do with this dude’s presence.
He’s in the room with this woman. He’s not wondering whether he forgot to turn off his top left hob.
He’s there and he’s engaged.
That’s magnetic. It’s the presence that makes the connection work so well.
This is the power most people don’t realise they’ve lost.
People are more distracted and frazzled than ever, sucking life from their ability to stay present.
And it can’t be forced.
Presence is there for you, in the absence of overthinking and self-judgment.
We all have access to it.
So, don’t worry about getting a tattoo.
Slow down.
Let your shoulders drop.
Talk slower if you need.
Enjoy presence like it’s a Swedish massage.
Watch your relationships improve.
If you’re struggling with finding presence like I did for years, my Untethered Mind course solves this.
You can’t force yourself to think less. That’s why the course guides you through a series of necessary insights about thought that take you from:
Frazzled ⮕ At ease.
All through a few powerful changes in belief.
