Many people look at me like I’m crazy when I tell them I publish new writing every day of the week.
But I can relate because I used to find it difficult.
I used to get tremendous resistance.
And I couldn’t put my finger on what was holding me back.
I had the time.
But I’d often procrastamacate that away.
Because of the ‘feeling.’
I didn’t like the feeling. I had to replace it with something else.
But it’s the feeling that stops any of us from planting butts on seats, starting things, completing things and publishing things.
15 years of doing this brought me surprising benefits:
More followers
More self-confidence
More money
More purpose
More freedom.
Knowing how to create and publish more in a way that doesn’t burn me out relies on this:
Understanding that my fear of judgement from others sits at the heart of this uncomfortable feeling.
It’s why I avoided doing the thing.
Here’s what helps me overcome the feeling and create anyway:
I broke free from the belief that says other people are a threat to my well-being.
Yep, that’s been key.
Question it.
Are they really?
What if no one was a threat to your happiness?
...Regardless of what you say, share or publish.
Doesn’t that feel like a relief? Like you feel more secure and confident now.
That’s how it should be.
Small idea.
Massively impactful.
If you want me to reveal the full blueprint for exactly how to break down unhelpful beliefs like this one, you might like my Let Go of the S#it course.
