- It finally happened. I snapped.
It finally happened. I snapped.

I was on my daily walk along a stream in Warsaw today.
I was sweaty and looked like I’d just escaped from living in a barn for two months.
But I finally did it.
I reached into my pocket, pulled out my phone, and pressed record.
I literally had no plan for my walk-and-talk video.
It had been months.
But by forcing myself to act, I was delivered an idea as I needed it, there and then, as though through a bolt of lightning.
I’d talk about exactly what was on my mind:
Warming up to create after lots of time away.
It had been growing heavy on my mind. I knew I needed to.
I feel better when I record regular videos for YouTube, especially the impromptu ones. I sleep better.
Consistent creativity that gets published will do that for you.
Because creating like that can be a vulnerable act. And vulnerability takes courage, which is fulfilling when followed through with.
I thought I was too rusty to bother getting back into videos again.
But I surprised myself with how easy it could be when I jumped over the initial hurdle - that ‘flinch.’
Once there, and I let go, the flow kicks in.
Now I’m up a video. Job done.
Endless creativity is now within reach.
One of the best ways I’ve found to stay motivated to create is to get guidance from someone who’s already seen results.
That’s why I created Online Writing Alchemy, a course I’m very proud of.
It distils all that I’ve learned to grow my audience to over 200k readers (most happened in the last few years)
You're more likely to stay consistent when you know how to do it well. And consistency leads to results.
Toodles,
Alex
