...But my mind has been going berserk.

'What if the grass catches fire from the generator?'

'I need to find a local fountain to fill up on water for the tank.'

'I'd better put down the stabilising legs under the caravan.'

'I need to get a new plastic fuel tank and fill it with petrol at the petrol station.'

'Crap, the things in the fridge are getting warm.'

Sure, everyone thinks all the time.

But I don't usually think the above kinds of thoughts...

Until now.

I bought my home on wheels. It's done; another big investment.

My bank account hurts. But it's happening.

It's a caravan. Bought on my way back from Poland, in Romania, and hauled to my plot of grass in Bulgaria.

I can't tell you how simultaneously exciting but also scary this has all been.

I wasn't even sure I'd get the caravan into my plot through the gate when I got home.

I did, but barely. I lost a couple of indicator lights, and busted the edge.

But I'd happily take that over not getting the caravan onto my land.

And so the dream is finally taking shape...

That's why I've been quiet the last few days, by the way.

I've been readjusting, thinking, and learning tons.

But the sense of freedom is extremely rewarding.

I can finally settle down, get back to working on my novel, and keep you guys in the loop on this whole living-in-Bulgaria plan.

Thank you for following along.

By the way, if you'd like to create something similar, where you use your words, ideas, and the ability to hit publish to create this kind of freedom...

You'll love my Never-Retired Writer book.

It's the kind of book you can dip into wherever, and I can guarantee you'll get excited about what's possible with online writing.

Much love,

Alex
