I ordered testicles online.

-

I hit: ‘Order.‘

Earlier today, I was surfing the web, and was greeted by an ad from an online beef store in Poland where I’m currently living.

As a big proponent of the health benefits of primal, carnivore and primarily animal-based diets, this grabbed me.

My fridge is stocked with an array of animal parts and cheeses, and now I could organise a simple delivery of all the things I’d struggled to find in ‘normal’ supermarkets.

Like cow balls.

I’m not joking.

These are one of the most nutritious foods on the planet. And I’ve been meaning to try em.

Packed full of zinc, selenium, B vitamins and ‘testosterone precursors,’ these things may wrinkle noses, but - in the interest of living long and well - they grab my attention.

So a batch of steaks, liver, and testicles is on its way.

What’s the lesson I plan to weave into this story?

It starts here:

I feel awkward sharing this with you.

Not as much as I might have been years ago, but there is a twinge of weirdness accompanying writing this.

Even seasoned writers like me feel uncomfortable before I hit send.

I know I will lose a good number of you by expressing my interest in beef balls.

And that’s okay.

I know people who literally quit creating content online because they operated on the philosophy that said:

If people unsubscribe, I’m doing it wrong.

Years of writing showed me the opposite is true.

Unsubscribes mean I’m doing something right.

If everybody liked what I wrote, I’d know I’m playing it too safe.

But I’m here to amass a tight-knit crew of people who GET me, and - even if they disagree - are willing to entertain my seeming craziness.

I’m looking for like-minded ‘crazies.’

Crazy gatherings make for a bigger impact and a more sustainable online business.

Thanks for being here (weirdo).
