I'm now homeless

Social confidence course closes

As you might know, I've been setting up my new base in Bulgaria, and the land I'm buying settles this week.

It's really happening.

But I decided to do something that will make my mum squirm.

I'm going to camp on my plot for the first few months.

(yes, I only bought a square of grass; no actual house).

And yes, I'll be a proper hobo for a while. Living in a tent, under tarps, outdoor kitchen and shower. That kind of thing.

...While I wait for the next phase of built cabins on wheels (for another email).

It feels weird, but I'm blinking excited.

I'll feel a bit exposed.

The crazy Brit pitching a tent on land in a Bulgarian village.

Years ago, I wouldn't have gone near this. I'd be picturing every neighbour I hadn't met yet and what they'd be thinking when they walked past.

Heavy resistance also came up around anything new, like moving somewhere unfamiliar, starting something that may attract criticism, or putting myself in any position where someone might look at me funny.

I blocked myself off from a lot of opportunities.

Eventually, I realised it all came back to how much I cared what other people thought.

Think about that in your own life for a second.

That single thread connects to most of what you're not doing right now: the dream projects, the move you keep putting off, the thing you want to say but won't.

That fear of judgement. It's a tough one, but it can be soothed.

In my twenties, I sat with this challenge and worked through it. I changed a good chunk of my limiting beliefs about what other people's opinions meant to me.

These days, I welcome the kind of challenge that would have CRUSHED me at twenty-two.

That's the shift 'Let Go of the S#it That Weakens You' helps you make.

The course walks you through the exact thought patterns that keep you unnecessarily anxious or worried or small.

You unblock them, step by step, until other people's opinions no longer feel like facts about you.

By the end:

  • You stop taking things personally.

  • Anxiety drops in days, not months.

  • You build the kind of social courage that lets you camp on a plot in a foreign village (if you want).

It's 60% off until 5pm ET tomorrow, Wednesday 10 June.

Much love,

Alex
