I'm car camping today.

As you read this, I'm likely driving through a forest in Bulgaria, looking for a car-camping spot.

I'm also probably sweating and overthinking things because I've never done this alone.

I'm not sure if the spot I choose will get me in trouble or if I've followed all the rules.

But I've installed a rooftop tent on my new used car, bought a stove, loaded up on some sausages, and I'm doing this.

I need the practice, given I'll be camping on my own land all summer.

It's a needed learning experience.

By tomorrow morning, I'll know what I shouldn't have packed, what doesn't fit where I thought it would, what to avoid next time, and what I need to fix before I attempt the next one.

That's how most things work.
