I can’t believe what my new book is doing

I woke up today to see my latest book, The Never-Retired Writer, hit high spots on the Amazon charts.
#1 in business careers
#3 in creativity self-help
#24 in success ebooks.

(Time to call it quits, embrace my newfound celebrity status, and move to an island.)
Now, obviously, it's launch time, and the book is only a dollar, so that helps push things, but it's still a great feeling.
Something I spent months writing is being read by nearly a hundred of you already after just 24 hours.
Thank you all who have bought so far!
I'm not banking on this book changing my life financially (directly). But it is raising awareness on Amazon of who I am, and it instils deepening trust, growth and familiarity for a bigger asset I've been building over many years:
My brand.
I hate the word. It's overused.
Really, it's just the idea people have of me.
When more people have a favourable vibe associated with me, this leads to:
more clients
more sales
more subscribers
more opportunities
more long-term security.
Without a personal brand, you're more vulnerable in an AI age. If a robot takes your job tomorrow, your only fallback is finding another boss.
You don't need a book to grow your brand. You can write short posts that take 5 minutes each.
With a brand and audience attached to it, you can generate all kinds of income opportunities, and you aren't relying on any one boss. You can have multiple:
paying members
clients
sponsorship deals
workshop attendees
book and course buyers
buyers of your art and products
Building a personal brand and a newsletter are two of the longest chapters in the book I'm launching this weekend.
If you've enjoyed my writing over the years or months, consider grabbing a copy today while the price is still a dollar ($9.99 in a few days!).
Help me push the rankings higher!
Peace and books,
Alex
