Dogs and dreams

If you like dogs, you’ll love Tbilisi.

In Georgia (Eastern Europe), they allow thousands of stray dogs (tagged and taken care of) to roam the city.

Often I’ll find myself walking around a sleeping furball as I take my daily walk through the city.

The smell of cheese bread in the air.

None of these dogs are hostile. They are all very calm and add a sense of calm to a city that is going through a period of political unrest.

The dogs remind me to slow down and be grateful for the roof I have over my head.

Their gentle eyes say, ‘You seem interesting.’

A dream of mine is to have a place in the countryside that houses several dogs. A place they can be taken care of, fed and roam in a large field.

And if I feel the push to travel, I’ll have a caretaker take care of them for a while.

In the meantime, I’ll grow my online business, which makes all this possible.

That’s the beauty of having a way to make a living without being tied anywhere specific.

Dreams are more easily fulfilled. It gives me choices.

The choice to live in Istanbul for a week, then Georgia for two weeks.

It’s taken me a while to figure all this out, and I still see myself as a beginner.

But it all started with a habit.

I chose one I knew I’d enjoy for the long term.

Writing every day for fifteen years has built me an asset composed of familiarity, trust and value.

People follow my ideas, even though I’m just a normal guy.

It’s the fact I show up and share my ideas repeatedly that takes a normal person to someone worth listening to (I hope).

You can do the same. But it starts with a commitment to a habit.

I don’t always feel like writing, but because it’s a habit, it’s much easier to lean into it daily without making a fuss.

What dreams are you working towards?

Maintaining a resilient mindset is one of the most significant components of creating your own income streams as a creator.

Struggle here and the whole enterprise is at risk of collapsing.
