Does your soul need a good stirring?

A chap I was working with recently had hit a wall.
He just wasn’t feeling it.
He wasn’t sure whether he was having a mid-life crisis, was burned out, or just forgot to take his vitamins.
But the dead look in his eyes said something was off.
Once we’d established he was eating and sleeping okay, I turned to the thing often missing when people lack motivation at a deeper level:
Finding their enemy.
Wait, Alex, what?
Yup, their ENEMY.
You can’t be truly fulfilled, alive, or excited if you aren’t at war.
You can’t build a business, grow a brand or live with a sense of meaning when your enemies are nowhere to be seen.
Let me ask you this, beloved reader:
What is the one thing you see in the world that strikes you as a big steaming pile of bullshit that needs to stop?
Once you’ve found the one thing that stirs an anger deep in your heart, you’ve likely found it.
That’s the thing you’re fighting against.
(Mine’s self-censorship)
And when you find something you’re fighting against, you’ll know what you’re fighting for.
Most people are shuffling around, bored, listless and unmotivated because they’re too comfortable.
But peace is most clearly felt at the end of a day, slaying monsters.
(Read that again.)
When my client and I found the one thing he saw was the biggest injustice in the world:
People who settle for far less than they’re capable of...
A spark reignited.
His inner dragon had awoken from his slumber.
(Because dragons need monsters.)
He was back, and his sense of burnout replaced with a gentle buzz of determination.
If you found your enemy, you’re in a superb position to live a life of meaning as a writer.
Everything you write becomes part of your mission to inspire and change minds.
Resonant writing does this.
Writing stuff people want to read has kept me alive and purposeful for years, and I want the same for you.
Online Writing Alchemy shows you how to share your mission and grow your brand in a way that stirs souls (in ten minutes a day).
What else are you here for?
(This is your time)
