Conditions will never be ideal
A friend of mine recently told me he's worried about the future of his job.
It feels like he could lose it at any moment.
My mind immediately jumped to what I'd do in his situation.
I asked him if he'd started creating content online and building a newsletter. A newsletter gives you subscribers, and subscribers give you options in a precarious working environment.
He looked at me blankly.
He told me he's struggled to stay consistent. Then he asked me how I manage to keep pushing out articles and emails all week long.
I told him: "I rarely feel like writing. But I do find the time to write, even if I don't feel like it."
One of the best things you can do for your productivity and self-confidence is to create when conditions are not ideal.
This will set you apart.
Get comfortable with the idea that you won't always feel motivated.
You just write the first line.
That's when the feeling usually returns anyway.
Get comfortable with not always being comfortable to create.
This will set you apart from 95% of people.
And if you'd like direct guidance on how to write stuff that resonates with your ideal people so that you start growing your newsletter, you'll love my current offer.
My flagship writing course,, Online Writing Alchemy, is on a special start-of-summer sale until this Tuesday June 16th at 4pm ET.
I've knocked a full $300 off the price until this time.
Much love,
Alex
