Clarity, at last.

...

There was a time when I felt frequently stuck, like I was lost.

One day, I’d feel inspired to write a book.

The next, I was chasing a new business idea.

And then came the days when I gave up entirely, scrolling aimlessly, wondering how I could lose so many hours watching silly YouTube videos.

But what I learned after a time was that I was too focused on myself. I was trying to be impressive and self-conscious, avoiding looking bad.

In a word, I was playing small.

When you think small, you act small. And this happens when you lack a commitment that excites you.

It felt like life took on a more vivid colour when I said, screw this, let’s create a simple vision.

This led me to crafting my purpose statement.

This is one sentence that shifts my focus to something bigger.

Instead of asking, “What do I want to do?” I started asking, “How can I impact others with my unique skills in a way that matters?”

When you have something bigger to aim for, the fog lifts. The energy returns. You know what to focus on, what to ignore, and why it’s worth showing up daily.

You may need my help creating your own statement, so…

This Friday, I’m releasing The Purpose Statement System for Ember subscribers. It’s a new mini-course I’ve spent many weeks crafting to help you create your own purpose statement.

This single, powerful sentence brings clarity and focus to everything you do in a way that aligns with your passions and talents.

The course will only be available for 48 hours. After that, it’s gone.

Ember is open today, and if you join now, you’ll get access to this course the moment it launches on Friday. It’s the upgrade to this newsletter, where I share a new, exclusive Ember mini-course every month.

Peace out,

Alex
